Celebrating Success!

Yesterday I completed my first real estate deal as a realtor in Portugal. The first of anything is memorable and something to celebrate.

I spent much of the last 2 days with the seller and buyers. What a joy this brought me to witness the hand over of the property. Creating memories kept coming up as a theme in our conversations. I love the reminder from the buyer, that life isn't about material possessions but about creating memories.

This experience was like watching a movie unfold. Whatever the seller was willing to share about her life and the home was so heartfelt. I am lured into knowing more about her life and the house. I remember being told by the realtor who sold one of my homes that every home has a buyer and the right buyer will always show up. I couldn't agree more.

This home was made for these two buyers. It represents everything that they wanted and probably more and that makes me joyous!

That reminder that life is about creating memories, well, I have been thinking about that all day and night. It triggered memories far gone to return to the forefront of my mind. Yes, life is not about busyness, order and control. If I did that, I would miss the whole point of my life, the fun, the blessings and my purpose.
