DAY 1 of 12 Days of Christmas

2020 is such a fascinating, memorable year. So much has happened to everyone in this world. How can I possibly write a recap? I decided to put in pictures instead.

JOY was my word for 2020 when I asked God what one thing He would teach me this year. It is so beautiful looking back at the pictures and seeing the very word show up in the pictures. We were in Canada and traveled to Portugal for the first time. I adopted the screen shot "Travel as much as you can. As far as you can. Life's not meant to be lived in one place", not knowing what would happen, but I looked at it very often and thought about it deeply. I began to purge things from my past like my medical books that I no longer needed, knowing that Ernest and I had set the goal to sell our home. We were thinking it would happen in the fall.

It's also interesting that I took a picture of something posted in the Oceanario in Lisbon. It said "There are no distances, no boundaries. We are all here. Everything is connected." Little did I know this would set the context for 2020 as we all are reminded how we are connected in this world, whether it is through love or a virus.
