Habakkuk 2:2 (AMP) says "Write the vision and engrave it plainly on tablets so that the one who reads it will run."
Yesterday I found something from my past that I wrote about my future almost 5 years ago. I was astounded by what I saw. The way I wanted my future to be almost exactly mirrors what has happened and still is happening in my life. It was something that I wrote and prayed over and I am the only one who sees it. I see now that I have been running towards the vision that was plainly written.
This is what I love about God: every prayer that we pray, God has to do something about it. He reminded me that once the prayer is said, it is His responsibility to answer and I can go in peace. That's stopped me from begging over and over again. True to His Word, He answers.
With the downsizing, I'm now the happy owner of one set of bedding, 4 towels, I've slimmed down the kitchenware to a set to serve 4 people and our clothes fit in 2 suitcases each. All of this had to happen for the vision to come through.
In storing things, I've only kept a few things, not items that I want to return to like bedding, cutlery etc. I know that I can always find tangible things when I need it. This part of the journey is liberating!
